Terms of service.

Use

You may use Palimpsa for any lawful writing or research purpose. Don't attack our infrastructure, abuse other users, or use Palimpsa to generate or distribute content that violates the law of the United Kingdom.

Your content

You own everything you write. We don't claim a licence to your documents. We need a minimal operational licence to display them back to you (and to anyone you've shared them with) — that's the extent of it.

We don't train AI on your writing. We don't sell or share the content with any third party.

Accounts

You're responsible for keeping your BeyondTheBox account credentials safe. We won't share or sell them. Delete your account at auth.beyond-the-box.uk/account and your Palimpsa documents are queued for hard-delete after a 30-day grace period.

Service changes

We'll publish breaking changes in the Releases feed before they ship. We'll keep deprecated APIs alive for a stated grace period.

Liability

Standard limitations apply. Specifics will land in the full document. Until then, treat the service as best-effort and don't rely on it for life-critical decisions.
